22nd Enzyme Mechanisms Conference

The 22nd Winter Enzyme Mechanisms Conference will be held at the Loews Don CeSar Beach Resort, St. Pete Beach, Florida from Sunday January 2nd to Thursday January 6th, 2011.
The conference will begin with a reception in the evening of Sunday January 2nd and will end with a banquet in the evening of Wednesday January 5th, with conferees departing on Thursday January 6th. The General Sessions will consist of invited talks and will be held during the morning and evening on Monday and Tuesday and all day on Wednesday. Posters will be displayed the entire time with dedicated Poster Sessions in the afternoons of Monday and Tuesday. Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Fellows are strongly encouraged to attend and present their work in poster format.
Conferees will be free in the afternoons of Monday & Tuesday to enjoy the many activities available in the St. Pete Beach/St. Petersburg/Tampa area.
The Don CeSar Beach Resort is an easy 30 minute drive from Tampa International Airport which is served by numerous airlines and car rental companies. The St. Pete Beach/St. Petersburg/Tampa area offers a wide variety of outdoor & sporting activities, along with world class museums, galleries & shopping.
The Enzyme Mechanisms Conference was founded in 1969 by Tom Bruice, Bill Jencks, and Myron Bender and traditionally focuses on chemical aspects of enzymatic reaction mechanisms. The conference attracts a large audience from academia, industry and government. The EMC is supported entirely by generous sponsorship and registration fees.
